關(guān)于大學(xué)生活：
Don’t let the fact that a class starts as early as 9 a.m. deter you from taking it.
別因為最早的課九點開始就不去上課。
Budget and avoid credit cards. It’s OK to not go out on the weekends or on "Thirsty Thursdays," but don’t beat yourself up for going out and having fun either.
做好預(yù)算，避免使用信用卡。周末或周四晚上派對不出去也沒什么大不了。不過也別因為出去玩把自己搞得筋疲力盡。
關(guān)于人際交往：
Make friends, but get comfortable hanging out by yourself. Teach yourself to get up early, nothing good happens super late honestly. Treat school like it’s a job and try to build a solid work ethic.
交朋友，但獨自出去時也要讓自己玩得開心。學(xué)會讓自己早起，因為說實話晚起的鳥兒沒蟲吃。把學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)成一份工作，并嘗試建立穩(wěn)固的職業(yè)道德。
Becoming friends with professors is a good idea. Explore every inch of your campus. Don’t tolerate a bad dormmate, it’s not worth the stress, get out if you can.
和教授做朋友是個不錯的主意。走遍校園的每一個角落。別忍受一個糟糕的室友，這樣的壓力不值得，如果可能就自己搬出去吧。
Befriend people who make you feel good about yourself, who are kind to you and enrich your life in new ways and don’t hold you back. Don’t befriend those who you feel like you should be friends with because everyone else is.
別猶豫，與那些讓你感到自在、真誠對你和讓你生活有新意的人做朋友吧。別因為其他人都跟這個人關(guān)系好，你也隨大流跟他交朋友。
關(guān)于職業(yè)道路：
You will not make as much money as you think you will after graduating.
畢業(yè)之后，你并不會如你想象的賺那么多錢。
Life experience is just as important as your formal education, if not more so. For many fields, employers care more about the initiatives you took and the experience you gain than your GPA or what classes you took. Plus it makes you a more well-rounded person and more able to handle different types of life challenges. Take time to experience new things and learn about yourself! It’s the best time to do it.
生活經(jīng)驗同正規(guī)教育一樣重要，可能更重要。對于很多行業(yè)來說，雇主更關(guān)心的可能是你的主動性和工作經(jīng)驗，而不是你的GPA或者你上過什么課。而且，生活經(jīng)驗讓你發(fā)展更全面，能應(yīng)對不同的人生挑戰(zhàn)。花些時間去體驗新事物，然后自我學(xué)習(xí)！現(xiàn)在是最好的時機(jī)。
Intern as much as you can while you’re in school. It can help you land a job with that particular company, or with a related firm. At minimum, it can offer some fantastic references. It can also help you decide whether your studies are suited for you -- getting real-life experience in what you ’think’ you want to do with your life can make all the difference in whether you actually understand and enjoy what your career path will look like.
在校期間多實習(xí)，它可以幫助你在實習(xí)的公司或相關(guān)公司找到一份工作。至少，實習(xí)能給你一些有用的參考。它能幫你檢驗所學(xué)知識是否適合你，因為在你所期待的工作中獲得的實際經(jīng)驗對于你是否真正理解并喜歡你的職業(yè)道路關(guān)系重大。
Don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. Try new things. Remember everyone is in the same boat as you are and they’re just as nervous!別害怕走出舒適區(qū)。嘗試一些新東西吧。要記住，其他人都和你處境相同，并且他們也很焦慮。
關(guān)于人生發(fā)展：
"Life isn’t about finding yourself, it’s about creating yourself." Don’t wait to start living the life you want to live. Follow what makes you happy, you won’t regret it. The things that are most worthwhile in life tend to be the ones you were afraid to try.
“生活不僅僅是發(fā)現(xiàn)自己，也是創(chuàng)造自己。”別只是等著你所期待的生活降臨，追隨能讓你快樂的生活，你絕不會后悔。人生中最值得做的事情往往是你最初不敢嘗試的。
Don’t compare your successes with others and don’t chase anyone else’s dream but your own. We each have our own journeys in life, so just make sure yours counts!
別把自己的成功與他人作比較，也別去追逐他人的夢想，做好你自己。我們每個人都有屬于自己的快樂，所以確保你的夢想有價值就可以！
You don’t have to decide what you want to be for the rest of your life. You just have to decide what general direction you want to take and what you want to do for your first step. When you look back on your life it will seem linear and logical, but while you are going through it it’s all haphazard and serendipity. And that’s the fun of it.
你并不需要現(xiàn)在就決定今后成為一個什么樣的人，你只需要想清楚一個大致方向，以及為了這個方向踏出的第一步。當(dāng)你回首人生路時，你可能只看到一條邏輯清晰的軌跡，但當(dāng)你經(jīng)歷其中時，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)生活充滿了偶然性和意外發(fā)現(xiàn)，而這就是人生的樂趣。
