We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren’t old enough and we’ll be more content when they are. After that we’re frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when we are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.

我們說服自己去相信，等我們結(jié)婚生子了，生活就會(huì)好起來。接著我們沮喪地發(fā)現(xiàn)孩子還小，等他們長大了，我們就會(huì)心滿意足。然后，我們又沮喪地發(fā)現(xiàn)自己還要應(yīng)對(duì)青少年的問題。等他們過了青春期，我們肯定會(huì)快活起來。我們告訴自己，等我們退休了，等我們享受到一個(gè)美妙的假期，我們的人生就會(huì)圓滿。

The truth is, there’s no better time to be happy than right now. Your life will always be filled with challenges. It’s best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy. There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have.

事實(shí)上，沒有哪一刻能比現(xiàn)在更加幸福。你的生活總是充滿挑戰(zhàn)。你最好意識(shí)到這一點(diǎn)，下定決心，讓自己幸福起來。幸福沒有捷徑可言。幸福本身就是人生之道。所以，請(qǐng)珍惜你所擁有的每一刻吧。

Stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you die, until you are born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.

不要等你完成學(xué)業(yè)，不要等你回校進(jìn)修，不要等你減了十磅，不要等你重了十磅，不要等你有了孩子，不要等你的孩子長大離家，不要等你開始工作，不要等你退休，不要等你結(jié)婚，不要等你離婚，不要等到周五晚上，不要等到周日清晨，不要等到春天，不要等到夏天，不要等到秋天，不要等到冬天，不要等你去世，不要等你投胎——才發(fā)現(xiàn)沒有哪一刻會(huì)比現(xiàn)在更幸福了。
