在上面的報(bào)道中,time-honored brand就是我們常說(shuō)的“老字號(hào)”,time-honored的意思是“因古老而受到尊重的;確立已久的”,例如:a time-honored custom(令人敬仰的古老習(xí)俗)
現(xiàn)在商家們都很注重brand name effect(品牌效應(yīng)),一個(gè)著名品牌帶來(lái)的brand worship(品牌崇拜)可以保證產(chǎn)品的銷(xiāo)路。有的商家還會(huì)不惜重金聘請(qǐng)名人來(lái)做brand spokesperson(品牌代言人),以提高品牌知名度。
