中國(guó)人口普查

The door-to-door interviews precede the nationwide population census, which officially starts on November 1 and is held once every 10 years.

入戶摸底調(diào)查在全國(guó)人口普查之前開展。每十年進(jìn)行一次的全國(guó)人口普查將于11月1日正式開始。

文中的door-to-door interviews就是指“入戶摸底調(diào)查”，也稱為door-to-door household survey，由census enumerators(人口普查員)負(fù)責(zé)開展，為即將迎來(lái)的sixth nationwide population census(第六次全國(guó)人口普查)做前期準(zhǔn)備工作。本次人口普查非常重視對(duì)住戶的信息保密，因此普查員都事先簽訂了confidentiality agreements(保密協(xié)議)。

擁有Beijing permanent residency/hukou(北京市常住戶口)的住戶需向普查員提供household register(戶口登記簿)，戶籍在外地人員則需提供temporary residence permit(暫住證)或者local permanent residence permit(長(zhǎng)期居住證)。
