A Chinese pop singer, best known for his campus ballads, faces prison after he was caught drunken driving on Monday night in Beijing, police said on Tuesday。

北京警方本周二稱，知名校園民謠音樂人高曉松醉駕，將被追究刑事責(zé)任。

文中的drunken driving就是指“醉駕”，比“DUI”(driving under the influence，酒駕)的情節(jié)更嚴(yán)重，更容易引發(fā)交通事故。“酒駕”也可以用driving while intoxicated來表示。為了避免此類事故，喝了酒的司機(jī)可以尋求designated driving service(代駕服務(wù))，請(qǐng)designated driver(代駕司機(jī))為自己開車。

交警在檢查時(shí)，要對(duì)司機(jī)進(jìn)行breath alcohol test(酒精呼氣測(cè)試)，必要時(shí)還需進(jìn)行blood test(血液檢測(cè))。有些司機(jī)在出現(xiàn)交通事故后hit-and-run(肇事逃逸)。對(duì)于這些行為，必須要實(shí)行zero tolerance(零容忍)。
