如果你是一個長期備考者，或是屢戰屢敗者，或是一個繼續想努力刷分的同學，那你就需要在寫作詞匯和句型上做一些準備。
首先，要注意一些常見詞匯的替換形式。舉個例子，比如說大家在寫“很多人認為”時，很多同學會寫many people think，像這樣一句話很明顯就不容易得高分，而是應該多考慮一些如：稍微好一些的主語從句：it is widely believed that(人們普遍認為);又比如說many hold the idea that(很多人都有這樣的觀點)等等。像這樣一些簡單的詞匯和短語之間的這樣一種切換是非常重要而且容易提分的。
又比如說在詞匯方面，很多人喜歡用important、many、more and more，這些都是老梗了，尤其是“越來越重要”more and more important，如果這些詞匯不斷的重復出現，你的作文可能是得不了高分的。我們就拿more and more important舉例。記住，more and more今后我們盡量變成副詞的形式，叫increasingly。比如說“更加重要”increasingly important，或者是increasingly vital or increasingly crucial等等，都會比較不錯。
