Story of Life
生命的故事
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away they were meant to be there, to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people maybe (possibly your roommate , neighbor , coworker , long lost friend , lover , or even a complete stranger),but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment they will affect your life in some profound way.
有時(shí)候，一些人進(jìn)入你的生命，你馬上知道他們是注定要出現(xiàn)的，他們的到來是為了達(dá)成某種目的，給你提供教益，幫助你認(rèn)清自己以及自己想要成為怎樣的人，你不會知道這些人是誰(很可能會是你的室友、鄰居、同事、失散多年的朋友、愛人，甚至是素未謀面的陌生人)，可是當(dāng)你的目光鎖定他們的那一刻，你就知道他們會給你的生命帶來深遠(yuǎn)的影響。
And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful. and unfair at first , but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
有時(shí)候，發(fā)生在你身上的事情看似可怕、痛苦和不公平，但仔細(xì)一想，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)，如果不克服這些障礙，你就不會意識到自己的潛能、力量、意志和決心。
Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck. Illness , injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small test whatever they may be ,life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life ,and the success and downfalls you experience , help to create who you are and who you become.
任何事的發(fā)生都是有原因的。沒有事情是偶然出現(xiàn)或運(yùn)氣使然。疾病、傷痛、愛情、與成功失之交臂，以及徹徹底底的糊涂犯錯(cuò)，這些都是你對精神極限的考驗(yàn)。無論這些小小的考驗(yàn)是什么，沒有了它們，生命就像是一條不知通往何處的平坦大道，縱然安全舒適，但卻了然無趣、毫無意義。你所遇到的影響你生命的人，你所經(jīng)歷的成功與失敗，都有助于塑造和成就你的人生。
Even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious when you open your heart. If someone loves you ,love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you ,but because in a way , they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
即使是不好的經(jīng)歷，也能從中吸取經(jīng)驗(yàn)。事實(shí)上，這些經(jīng)驗(yàn)可能是最深刻和最重要的。如果有人傷害了你，背叛了你，或傷了你的心，原諒他們把，因?yàn)樗麄儙椭憷斫饬诵湃危屇愣昧嗽诔ㄩ_心扉時(shí)保持精神是很重要的。 如果有人愛你，你要無條件地愛他們，不僅因?yàn)樗麄儛勰悖€因?yàn)樗麄兘虝四闳郏约叭绾纬ㄩ_你的心扉、放開你的目光。
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from those moments everything that you possibly can for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people that you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in you. You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.
讓每一天都過的有價(jià)值。 珍惜生命中的每一刻，并盡你所能地從中取得收獲，因?yàn)槟悴粫袕念^再來的可能。跟那些你從來沒有說過話的人交談，并注意聆聽。讓自己去愛，掙脫束縛，讓目光高遠(yuǎn)。要昂起頭，因?yàn)槟阌袡?quán)利這么做。 告訴自己，你是一個(gè)偉大的人，并相信自己，因?yàn)槿绻悴幌嘈抛约海瑒e人就很難相信你。 你可以做任何想做的事來塑造你的人生。 創(chuàng)造你自己的人生，并無怨無悔地去過這一生吧。
Most importantly, if you LOVE someone, tell him or her ,for you never know what tomorrow may have in store. And learn a lesson in life each day that you live.
最重要的是，如果你愛某個(gè)人，就告訴他/她。因?yàn)槟悴恢烂魈鞂鯓印；钪拿恳惶炖锒家兴斋@。
That’s the story of life.
這就是生命的故事。
